Man I love how my Amidala costume looks from the back.
As I mentioned elsewhere I’m amazed at how this costume has stood the test of time. If I’d left the edges of the petals unfinished, closer to how the actual dress looks, it would have long since frayed into oblivion… the serged petals are still in pretty good shape, and cleaned up pretty well. The whole costume still looks good, and I’m still happy with it, 10+ years later.
Just not the same body wearing it. I can’t zip the dress up all the way anymore. Haha! Hips and waist ok. Boobs are apparently bigger than they were in 2005.
In other news…. my Papa has his surgery, was in the ICU for a day, and now in a regular room. His doctors say he is looking good. So all that is good.
Costume news… I’ve just been working on my wig this week. Got the second wig cut apart and I’ve been sewing the wefts from it into the base wig. It’s tedious.
Saw Rifftrax Live: The Room wednesday night, that was fun, one of the best I’ve been to.
